@StraightTwoDVD You know what's much sadder than all that? What's really sad is someone who feels obliged to go so far out of their way to be such an ignorant, colossally pathetic ass. R.I.P. Barry Cowsill Died August 29th 2005 Drowning from Hurricane Katerina. cute video Buddy Ebsen was the bomb Thanks so much for this upload! I am 40 so I missed the Cowsills the first time around. However, my love of music from and early age allowed me to discover them when I was 10. They were very much underrated and really no one can really dispute that they were an extremely talented group of kids and mom. They played their own instruments and they certainly could sing. I wish they would have gotten more credit for their contributions besides the prototype for the Partridge Family. Their pop songs were plain awesome. Cowsills please come to Altoona PA :-) @StraightTwoDVD - The Cowsills grew up in Newport, Rhode Island. Hardly a "one horse town." Their creative output and image were stolen by studio moguls to craft "The Partridge Family." They all went on to do reasonably well, considering how they were shafted at the outset. Khultan: I was 6 years old in 1968 (South-Bay -Sunnyvale). Never heard of them until about the time you heard them 4 months ago. I was searching for 70s one hit wonders. Now I'm a Cowsill Addict. I know stupid things like John is the only one to part his hair on the right side. That's how you can tell he's not Barry. Susan is the number one celebrity I want to meet. I need an intervention. @scottmonfort There are no books at all about them. I've recently discovered this 60s era magazine called Shindig, maybe there might be a reprinting of an interview if they ever did of this group. I'm also waiting for The Cake (another late 60s band) Did the Cowsills ever perform on the Carol Burnett show? Clip from the Cowsills 1968 TV special Includes Bob and Bill Cowsill song writing Susan, John and Barry Cowsill singing Also includes rare clip of Susan Cowsill dancing with Buddy Epsen
