Night People (1954) Nunnally Johnson Starring Gregory Peck, Broderick Crawford, Anita Björk, Rita Gam, Walter Abel & Buddy Ebsen That is one hell of a good movie. A very good drama with a top notch cast headed by Gregory Peck and Broderick Crawford. It has a suspenseful plot and delivery. Chrome is fine here. No problems on anything on YouTube. Use it hours a day. Do all your OS updates, run "free" highly rated software to maintain your computer. Its the ONLY way to keep your systems running anywhere close to normal performance. Learn what to never trust and never trust things without good public reviews on mainstream sites. Its a good start to keeping things in working order. iobit.com has great free tools to keep everything running perfect BTW. And the movie looks and sounds great. Thanks for posting. Peck at his best. Great writing, direction and editing. @ 0:33, Oh yes, Platz des 4. Juli, the 4th of July parade with the infantry marching in this scene right next to McNair Barracks (entrance @1:26), home to many units of the US Army Berlin Brigade (Strike!), West Berlin; marched there myself. then probably the 40th Armor and I'm sure the 294th Band is in the background. This film does bring back more than just a few memories. Does anyone remember going to the Resi in West Berlin and picking up the table-top telephone to call the girls at the table next to yours? No cell phones back then and most girls did not have a home phone either. Too bad the Resi was not included in this film. Other locations bring back a load of memories especially about checking the list of off-limits establishments (the only document on the bulletin board of any military unit which really had fingerprint smudges on it and thus showing it had been read thoroughly many times); soldiers never want to miss out on a good (bad) thing. Is the father played by Broderick Crawford? Thank you for this presentation. surprisingly good movie Damn...1954 and the Germans have still not started the stabilization and preservation of the Kaiser Wilhelm Church. Amazed the thing didn't fall down before they got around to it. imdbtitlett0047279
